"CHUCKY", is a male chihuahua, that needed a home just when I needed a little dog to love. I found him on PETFINDERS. And brought him home Nov. 7th 2002. We had him neutered within a few weeks of arrival. He has a wonderful personality. He loves all our visitors. He weighs 6 lbs. He just made himself at home as if he's been here forever! He is totally fascinated with the horses and runs the fence line barking at them. He likes to go for car rides, and walks. Mostly he likes sitting on my lap. Everyone jokes that his feet never touch the floor. He turned 12 yrs old (guesstimate) on April 8th, 2012. (real birthday unknown so I gave him my sisters.) And we were told by the previous owner he was approx. 2 years old.

Miss "Kitty" was adopted from Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter via Petfinders. (formerly called Starshine) She is a 2 year old spayed and front de-claw Maine Coon mix. Her color is called dilute tortishell. We adopted her on, 2/10/11 so her birthday will be 2/10/09. She is adjusting very well to her new home. She loves to chase the laser and the Da Bird wand with feathers. She came matted and hated to be brushed so she was sedated for the first grooming. Now with a little patience she also enjoys being brushed. She also enjoys looking out the window at the birds.

Welcome "BELLA". Adopted June 28th 2011 from Frederick County Animal Control. (formerly Snowbell) Bella is a 5 yr old spayed & front de-clawed Siamese mix. Her color is called lynx point. She is a tiny little girl at 5 lbs. But then again Miss Kitty is only 7 lbs. She just looks bigger because of all her hair. Bella makes a terrific addition to our family. She loves her belly rubbed and killing her kong toy. There isn't a box or container she won't try to fit in to. She is the smartest cat we ever owned and definitely is a daddy's girl. We'll make her birthday June 28, 2006.

SHORTY, birthday 6/25/98-13.3 hands-Peruvian Paso gelding. Shorty is indeed short and sweet. Shorty likes people and will let you lay down near him in the sun. Shorty became available when his owners got divorced, via an auction. He's an easy keeper and looks like a Thelwell pony. Shorty arrived 12/25/07. He is a comfortable gaited boy who really moves out with his short little legs. Shorty loves to be loved. Shortys reg. name (short and sweet in Spanish), and birthdate are fictitious as we really don't have all that info since he was from an auction.

"Pat's Painted Pony", birthday 8/1/03 Tennessee Walker Gelding. 14.3 hands. "Ace" is his come to dinner name. TWHBEA Reg. # is 20308469. Arrived 5/20/07. He loves to put his 2 front feet and nose into the water trough and dance and splash. Art got Ace for me as a gift, as I was still mourning my beloved Joe. (purchased from Wallace & Betty Fletcher of Catawba VA. He is very curious and examines everything with his mouth. He has eaten edges of the barn, and wires, and anything else he can get in his mouth! Art says he is a dog in disguise! Once he ate all the wires off the horse trailer and the side bumpers and he ran around with the bumper foam...He needs a job to keep him occupied full time. He knickers only to me & is very playful and extremely smart. He's a handsome boy and my friend.

I am grateful for Amanda's help because it takes some work off Arthur's back. Without her and Art, I doubt I'd be able to keep my boys.
