The Husband
Art's last name is different than mine. His is too complicated and I got tired
of trying to teach folks how to pronounce it! He is second born of 8 children. He graduated college, with a B.A. degree in
business administration.. He works at USF Glen Moore. As operations manager.
He is allergic to just about everything. Hay, horses, dogs, cats, dust, grass etc.
And look who he married! Wonder if he knew "I DO" meant getting weekly shots.

Our little piece of the world. Just over 10 acres
for the horses to graze and fertilize. Few more photos on
the boarding page.
The Children
click HERE to see some photo's of the family. This album is incomplete but we're working on it.
We've raised 10 foster children. 7 boys and 3 girls. And like one's own children, these keep
coming back to visit, especially when they need something! :-)
Some now have kids of their own. Making us grandparents.
Aaaah! We're too young for that! ha, ha. Ages of the children when they arrived;
Andy C. 16/ John L. 13/ Eric G. 16/ Jamie M. 13/ Joey M. 10/ Dave L. 17/Salena 15/ Abbey 2/ Josh
13/& Joey S. age 12,
Over the years I've lost contact with Salena, Abby and Josh. Joey S, visits regularly and turned 25
in March of 2008. He has a son born 12/27/04 named Ayden who is the spitting image of his Dad. Andy is married
with 4 children & owns his own landscaping & snow removal business in Salem NH. John has 2 sons and 2 daughters
in Chester NH, John works at a Ramada Inn doing banquets with my brother Mike the head chef. Eric now 29 owns his own home
in Dillsburg PA and works at Ifco. Dave has a son, Collin who is 4 yrs old. Jamie is attending college
to become a police officer. Joey M. is studying to be a math teacher.

Just Me
I am the oldest of 4 kids. I graduated Nursing School in 1976 &
have worked in Nursing Homes, Hospitals, the Emergency Room (my favorite!), and live in Camp Nurse for A.R.C. several summers. Did some Private Duty cases. Taught KidnerKarate classes to young children. And attend whenever I can. I
enjoy the martial arts very much.
I collect anything with a Tennessee Walker on it. I also collect
Japanese items.
I paint anything that doesn't move from pet portraits to the walls
in my home. I do web pages, icons, screen savers, photo manipulations. Write poems, stories and draw cartoons. Some of
my work including drawings has been published in national dog magazines.Sheltie Pacesetter, Obediance News, Sheltie International. and Dogs U.S.A. to name a few.
I knit, crochet, do counted cross stitch, hook rugs, faux stained glass.
You name it I've probably tried it. Making me a jack of all trades but a master of none.
I've rescued and placed or kept numerous birds, dogs, cats, horses and backyard wildlife. The latter returned to freedom
after rehabilitation.(working on new site for those I helped.) Sometimes I sell stuff on eBay to pay for my hobbies and Vet
bills.
I like reading non fiction. I have a warped
sense of humor. I HATE housework. And I am NEVER bored!
The Shelties
Because the dog showing was such an important phase of our lives, I wanted to show
you a few of our beloved shelties. We were breeder/owners of three Champions. Caralee Strike Me Silly-"Snickers"
for short. Next was Caralee Stike Up the Band-call name"Sanyo", a Snickers daughter. Then came Caralee's
Carefree Playboy-call name "Buddy". Buddy also had a CGC award. (Canine Good Citizen). Points towards their
championship were awarded to; Caralee Man of Steel-"Kent" who was Snickers brother. Along with Caralee's
Highlight-"Beacon".
Many of our dogs also obtained CD's which are obediance champion titles, TT which
is temperment tested title, and HD, for herding titles. I may eventually put up an entire page featuring the shelties
but for now here are three of my favorite photo's.
Havoc is shown with M.O.T.H. (meat on the hoof!)
our little fawn who enriched our lives with her anctics. Next is the sable bunch requiring two hidden handlers,
a boy tossing a football and a patient friend photographer! (Lita Renninger). It only took 36 photo's to get them all looking
in the same direction. And last but not least, Sky who is a Buddy granddaughter. The sweetest face I
ever saw. Our last Sheltie Mandy passed away in 1999. I was dogless for awhile which is a first for me, then we found
Chucky. Not nearly as beautiful as a sheltie but endearing and loving and a pleasure to own.
